The Tamanend Park Herb Gardening Club has been providing horticultural scholarships since 1985. The funds for these scholarships come from our Annual Herb Sale held in May. COVID-19 lock-down regulations and safety protocols prevented us from holding our annual sale in 2020 and 2021. That didn’t stopping us from continuing to award our annual scholarships; we just did them via teleconference.
2022 was the first returning year of our Herb Sale and we were able to actually meet in person with our scholarship recipients.

Chance Slack transferred to Delaware Valley University during the pandemic to study hydroponics and aquaponics.
